Europe’s largest airline Lufthansa suspends flights “to” and “from” Kyiv

“This applies to all departures from Monday, February 21 to February 28, 2022,” the company said. Lufthansa will decide on further flights to and from the Ukrainian capital later.
Lufthansa did not inform about the reasons for the suspension of flights, but noted that the company is “constantly monitoring the situation.”
“Leave your mobile phone number when booking and we will automatically notify you of any changes. If your flight is cancelled, please contact the Lufthansa service center or travel agency to discuss further travel plans,” the airline said in a statement.
Earlier, the airline company Wizz Air postponed the date of resumption of 16 routes from Ukraine.
And the Irish low-cost company Ryanair plans to continue flights to and from Ukraine until the threat of a “Soviet” invasion materializes.
