She went to see her boyfriend in the neighboring district: the police searched for a 14-year-old girl missing in the Bashtan district

Yesterday evening, a resident of the village of Sofiivska hromada turned to police department No. 1 of the Bashtan district police department for help in searching for her underage daughter. According to the mother, in the morning the girl left the house and did not return, there was no contact with her.

The entire staff of the police department was immediately involved in the search for the girl.

After carrying out a series of operative and search measures, the police officers searched for the fugitive for several hours in the city of Voznesensk, where she was staying with her boyfriend.

The law enforcement officers conducted a preventive conversation with the minor, focusing on the negative consequences that her behavior may lead to.

Regarding the girl’s mother, the police drew up an administrative report under Art. 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses “Failure by parents or persons replacing them to fulfill their duties regarding raising children.”

The police once again call on parents to keep an eye on their children. Explain to them how important it is to report your location and not to leave your family arbitrarily.
