People’s deputy from “Servant of the People” Volodymyr Gevko became a participant in a traffic accident, as a result of which a person died.
About this parliamentarian reported on Facebook.
“Today there was a traffic accident that ended in tragedy. I was one of the participants in this terrible incident, the doctors, unfortunately, could not save the other,” wrote Mr. Gevko.
He also assured that he is cooperating with the investigation:
“For my part, I have passed all the tests for alcohol and drugs, passed all the necessary tests and will continue to participate in all investigative and procedural actions.”
The People’s Deputy expressed his condolences and apologies to the relatives of the deceased.
“There are no such words that can help this trouble. But I, for my part, will do everything in my power to ensure that the family of the tragically deceased person receives all the support and help they need to survive this terrible grief,” he assured.
Volodymyr Gevko said that it is very difficult for him to survive what happened, but he realizes that it is even more difficult for the relatives of the deceased.
By the way, earlier the mass media reported on the accident involving People’s Deputy Oleksandr Trukhin. A year and a half ago, there were accusations against the suspect in the accident that he was behind the wheel, driving while intoxicated, and later tried to “disappear” from the place on the Boryspil highway where the incident took place.
The accident involving People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” faction O. Trukhina caused a lot of noise. The accident, in which six people were injured, including two children, and which was tried to be hidden from the beginning, was investigated for almost a year.
