President Zelenskyy signed a decree on Ukraine’s withdrawal from the agreement on pension provision and state insurance for employees of internal affairs bodies of the CIS countries.
The relevant decree No. 158/2023 was published on website of the head of stateinforms Konstantin Kryvopust.
Zelenskyi also instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform the depository of the agreement about Ukraine’s withdrawal from it.
As reported, in 2018, Ukraine announced the recall of all its representatives from the statutory bodies of the CIS and announced a review of the agreements signed within the CIS.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine terminated agreements with the Russian Federation on air transportation and aircraft production.
Ukraine terminated the 1993 agreement with Russia on the joint use of living resources of the Sea of Azov basin.
We will also remind you that Ukraine terminated the agreement on cooperation with Russia in the field of atomic energy. The document has been in effect since 1993.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine terminated the agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs and the Republic of Belarus. The document was effective from March 6, 1992.
