ARMA will soon transfer the assets of the Russian Tatnaft group of companies. The transfer is being handled by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), which is also investigating the activities of the energy company VS Energy, which owns a number of oblenergo, reported in the DBR.
“First of all, we are talking about the energy industry, since often the owners of strategic enterprises in the industry are Russians themselves or structures controlled by them,” the message states.
Only in the last few months, the SBI has carried out extensive work on the transfer of assets of the group of companies of the Russian “Tatnaft” to ARMA for the implementation of measures to manage them.
“So far, 115 objects of immovable property have been seized: oil depots, gas stations, non-residential buildings, land plots, and 118 gasoline trucks and cars,” the message reads.
As for VS Energy, the SBI investigators are checking the involvement of the deputy chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Oleksandr Babakov in the company. He has already been charged with suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
“The assets of the company of another former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and oligarch Andriy Molchanov – the enterprise “AEROK” – were also seized and handed over to ARMA. In addition, the international channel for the supply of components for PVC and critical infrastructure facilities in Russia has been blocked,” says the DBR.
DBR also transferred 26 regional operators of gas distribution systems to ARMA management.
The bureau reminds that in June of last year, the SBI exposed a large-scale scheme of free transfer of gas distribution systems to private operators by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. Many years of illegal activity caused losses to the state in the amount of UAH 1.488 billion.
Liquefied gas, which PJSC Ukrnafta wanted to sell illegally, was also handed over to ARMA.
We will also remind you that recently the DBR completed a special investigation regarding former President Viktor Yanukovych and ex-Prime Minister Mykola Azarov in the case of the preparation of the “Kharkiv Agreements”, which contributed to the aggression of the Russian Federation.
