Zelensky introduced sanctions against 200 people

On Sunday, February 12, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, implemented the NSDC’s decision to apply sanctions to 200 people associated with the Russian Federation.

The relevant decree No. 75/2023 published on the website of the head of state.

199 citizens of the Russian Federation and one Ukrainian – collaborator Yuriy Chernichuk, who was appointed by the Russians as the “director” of the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP – were sanctioned.

It is noted that the sanctions are introduced on the basis of proposals made by the SBU for a period of 50 years.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is instructed to inform the competent authorities of the EU, the USA and other countries about the application of sanctions and to raise with them the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures.
