Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two law enforcement officers were notified in absentia of suspicion of treason.
According to the investigation, in March and April 2022, an employee of one of the departments of the Starobil district police department and a guard of the Lysychan police department went to cooperate with representatives of the occupation administration of the Russian Federation. They passed an interview and took an oath of loyalty to the so-called “LNR”.
The suspects received new positions in the so-called “Bilovodsk District Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the People’s Republic of China”.
Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention for the accused is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the investigators of the Technical Department of the Criminal Investigation Department located in the city of Kramatorsk.
