Israel launched a missile attack on the capital of Syria – Damascus. According to preliminary information, there are dead and wounded.

Syrian state media, citing the military, say that Israel launched airstrikes in several areas of the capital after midnight.
Several buildings in a densely populated area near Umayyad Square in central Damascus were said to have been damaged. There are high-rise residential buildings that are under guard.
Local publications note that as a result of rocket attacks, at least 5 people were killed and 15 more were injured. According to preliminary data, there are civilians among the dead.
“It damaged several civilian houses and caused material damage to a number of districts in Damascus and its surroundings,” the Syrian military said.
