The director of one of the departments of Kyivteploenergo received suspicion due to the fact of spending budget funds in particularly large amounts during the procurement of pumps.

Case details
According to the investigation, a contract for the purchase of pumps and compressors was signed between Kyivteploenergo and a private enterprise back in 2020.
The figures in the case knew that the prices were significantly inflated, but they still committed a particularly large amount of embezzlement of the utility company’s funds.
Punishment of those involved in the case
According to the conclusions of the examination, the amount of damages is about 700,000 hryvnias.
Currently, the issue of applying precautionary measures and removing the official from his position is being resolved.
Extras face from 7 to 12 years of imprisonment.
