On Friday, Ukraine is forced to ask for emergency aid from three European countries to overcome the deficit, reported NEC “Ukrenergo”.
“Today, in order to overcome the deficit in the power system, there is an emergency supply of electricity from the power systems of Poland, Slovakia and Romania. Also, emergency aid from Slovakia and Poland arrived on Thursday, September 12”, – is going in the message of “Ukrenergo” in the Telegram channel on Friday.
The system operator urges to save electricity during the day and not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time from 16:00 to 22:00.
At the same time, it records a seasonal decline in consumption: as of 9:30 a.m. Friday, its level was 2.1% lower than at the same time on Thursday, September 12.
The daily maximum consumption, recorded during the daytime hours of Thursday, was also 1.8% lower than the previous day – on Wednesday, September 11.
Instead, imports on Friday increased by 13% compared to Thursday – they will be carried out during the day from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 18,204 MWh.
Due to hostilities and other reasons, 562 settlements were completely or partially cut off this morning.
According to the Ministry of Energy in the Telegram channel, during the past day, civilian energy infrastructure in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Sumy and Kharkiv regions came under fire from the Russian Federation.
In Donetsk region, during the air alert, overhead lines were disconnected, as a result of which several substations, household consumers, as well as mines, where 277 workers were, lost power. All miners were brought to the surface, and power was restored.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, an overhead power line was damaged as a result of hostilities, but consumers were not cut off. At the same time, in the Odesa region, the disconnection of the overhead line due to hostilities led to the disconnection of household consumers.
In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, as a result of the UAV attack, an object of industrial infrastructure was damaged, an overhead line was turned off during firefighting, and household consumers were temporarily cut off.
As a result of the passage of the thunderstorm front, power was cut off in 14 settlements in Zhytomyr region, 11 settlements in Kirovohrad region, 8 settlements in Kyiv region and 3 settlements in Chernihiv region – a total of 36 settlements (“Ukrenergo” reported on 41 settlements without power).
Due to technological violations, substations and household consumers were cut off in Cherkasy region, and in Dnipropetrovsk region, local industry was also cut off. Power supply was restored according to the backup scheme.
