Debris from a downed Russian missile damaged the roof of a multi-storey residential building in the Solomyan district of Kyiv, the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) reports.
“In the Solomyan district, the debris damaged the roof of a multi-story residential building, one of the debris fell on the territory of the school, the rest – mainly on the open territory. In advance, without casualties”, – reported Serhiy Popko, head of the KMVA.
Also, according to him, debris fell in the Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city. “In the Holosiivskyi district, a debris damaged the roof of a car, others fell in an open area. Also, previously, there were no casualties. In the Shevchenkiv district, debris fell in an open area. As of now, there are no casualties. All operational services are involved. The operational summary data is being updated and clarified,” Popko said.
Mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko said about the fire in the Solomyan district.
“The fire in the Solomyan district, which started in one of the garages on private territory as a result of falling debris, was extinguished. There are no casualties. Missile fragments were found near the entrance of one of the apartment buildings, as well as in the yard of a private house. In the same Solomyansk district, rocket debris fell near a supermarket,” the mayor wrote on the Telegram channel.
