The mobile application, which allows you to read the menu and pay in food establishments using a QR code, can be expanded to the entire field of services, said the co-founder of monobank Oleg Horohovskyi.
“We created this service primarily for the catering industry, but the selection of services by QR code and subsequent payment can be applied in other areas, for example, in a spa or a hair salon, it just needs to be adapted somewhat to their specifics,” Horokhovskyi said at the restaurant innovation conference SALT in Kyiv on Monday.
According to Expirenza by mono analytics, the number of restaurants connected to the platform has more than doubled since the start of the war, from 7,420 in January 2022 to 16,400 in September 2024.
