Wizz Air is ready to run 400 routes from Ukraine six months after the sky opens

The European Lowcaster Wizz Air has developed a plan for opening 400 routes in the first six months after the opening of the Ukrainian sky, which will allow to transport 5 million passengers a year, Wizz Air CEO Joseph Varada said.

“As soon as Ukraine is ready, we will be ready to restore (flights-IF-U). We not only look at the opportunity to fly to Ukraine, but also gather to fly from Ukraine, organizing our basic operations there. We have big plans for Ukraine … We have developed a plan for creating a network from about 400 routes during the first 6 months, which will create a pass. We will be ready, ”Varada said at an organized analytical center “We Build Ukraine” Logistics as a driver of economic growth.

He also said that Wizz Air representatives were several times in Ukraine and negotiated with interested parties, in particular with Ukrainian airports.

“We are very close to commercial agreements with each of them (airports-IF-U). I think we are really ready for work,” Varad said.

Earlier it was reported that the management of the International Airport (MA) Boryspil in Budapest held negotiations with representatives of the European Lowcoster Wizz Air on the prompt launch of air transportation after opening the airspace.
