The OKKO Group, which includes the operator of the same name of the Galnaftogaz Concern network, directs its dividends for 2024 in the amount of UAH 1.26 billion on new investment projects of the group in energy and AGRO, the OKCO-Ukraine CLOs reported to the OCCO.
“Our company pays dividends from one business and reinves funds in the creation of new infrastructure and jobs in Ukraine in others. It is about our projects in renewable energy – we build a 147 MW windmill, in the plans of the second stage, but more capacity – for 190 MW; Danylyak commented.
According to him, investments in alternative energy are more than EUR600 million.
CEO of OKKO Groups added that these projects are being implemented despite all the military risks, which indicates a long-term business motivation to the company within the country.
In mid -April founder and main owner of OKKO Vitaliy Antonov called the key Directions for the use of possible dividends support for the Armed Forces and investments in new projects in Ukraine, emphasizing that “OKKO business has long been not just about fuel retail.”
In addition to energy investments, a bioethanol plant and a joint venture with Gadz Agro, he also mentioned the construction of Goro Mountain Resort at the end of last year.
“The team and I believe in our victory, so today we are attracting our own, western and domestic capital in the creation of new infrastructure and jobs,” Antonov emphasized.
As it was reported, the General Meeting of Shareholders of JSC “Galnaftogaz Concern” decided to direct dividends for 2024 UAH 1.26 billion from UAH 1.424 billion of net profit, and UAH 0.17 billion is left unallocated at the disposal of JSC.
Galnaftogaz manages one of the largest networks of OKKO, which has more than 400 complexes with a network of food establishments. The concern also includes other businesses.
In June 2024, the EBRD and OKKO concluded a credit agreement at the EUR60 million loan agreement at the Berlin Recovery Conference for the construction of a new bioethanol production plant in the Ternopil region with a capacity of 83 thousand tons per year. It is planned to be built in two years. Products will be sold in the foreign and domestic markets.
In April, OKKO SEO Danilyak reported that its installation of energy storage (UZE) 20 MW, which was completed at the end of 2024, may start providing Ukrenergo NEC services for balancing the power system next month.
