PJSC Nitrogen (Cherkasy) resumed the production of mineral fertilizers after a forced stop three weeks ago due to a fall in gas pressure that occurred as a result of Shahmed attack on the external gas infrastructure of Cherkasy.

“We managed to restart businesses and bring key shops to the planned power after gas infrastructure was restored,” – said the chairman of the board Vitaliy Sklyarov. – “The enterprise is fully provided with the necessary gas for fertilizer production and continues to supply fertilizers.”
Thus, the enterprise restored the work of the ammonia A-3 (900 tons per day) and a M-2 carbamide production shop (1100 tons per day).
Over the course of a few days, the M-5 (non-concentrated nitric acid) and M-9 (ammonium nitrate) for the production of CAS are also planned.
According to Sklyarov, despite the forced stop, the plant will fulfill its obligations, and the annual production plan will be fulfilled.

Cherkasy nitrogen produced 394.8 thousand tons of fertilizers, and Rivneazot – 134.4 thousand tons.
Ostchem enterprises in 2024 reduced Mineral fertilizer production is 13% to 1.8 million tonnes compared to 2023.
In 2024, Cherkasy nitrogen stored production of fertilizers at a level of 1.4 million tons, and equasot reduced production by 22% to 407 thousand tons.
