The lucky couple almost dropped the jackpot ticket through the window of the open car.
A man from Michigan (USA) said that the lottery ticket, which brought him a jackpot of $328,439, almost flew out of the open window of the car.
The 49-year-old man was traveling with his wife when he bought the ticket.
“My wife and I were driving north and stopped at a store to have a drink on the way. We saw that the jackpot exceeded $300,000, so we bought a ticket,” said the player.
The next day, when the couple was driving home, disaster almost happened.
“My wife checked the ticket on the way home and started screaming when she realized we had won the jackpot. And the ticket almost flew out the window! Fortunately, my wife was able to grab him and hide him in a safe place,” recalls the lucky man.
The man admitted that he and his wife are still considering options for how to spend the prize money.
“We hope to save most of it so that we can retire a little earlier than planned,” says the couple.
