A base of Ukrainian cinema was created in Ukraine

Date:

The Ukrainian Institute launched a platform with a base of Ukrainian cinema, which includes 600 films. The site works in English and aims to introduce the world to the cinema of Ukraine.

On the site, you can familiarize yourself with both archival Ukrainian tapes and modern novelties from Ukrainian directors. Anyone can get a link to watch legally and enjoy their favorite movie. Among the films are Oleh Sentsov’s Rhinoceros, the Oscar-nominated House of Rocks, Oles Sanin’s Guide, and others.

Ukrainian cinema in one base! It is no longer necessary to collect piece by piece information about Ukrainian films, because the Ukrainian Institute, together with usheru, simplified the task and created a site-base of Ukrainian cinema ukrainefilms.com.,
– said the creators.

As the creators of the project announced, they have launched the widest database of Ukrainian cinema, which collects information on the availability of films for viewing on various platforms, both online cinemas (VOD platforms) and regular cinemas. “For example, you are looking for a place to watch a certain movie and you live in Germany. To do this, you need to specify these parameters on the site and you will receive information about available views,” the authors of the platform claim.

The first reviews of viewers:

  • “Fantasy”;
  • “Bravo, a very important and necessary project! But on time!”;
  • “Super! Great news! Especially when you live abroad, it is very difficult to find information.”
