The joint exhibition of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts and the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts was opened today in Uzhhorod.
In the halls of the regional art museum named after J. Bokshay, the teams presented exhibits on the occasion of anniversaries – the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the institution of higher art education in Zakarpattia and the 60th anniversary of the Kharkiv Higher School of Design.
The mayor of Uzhhorod Bohdan Andriyev, the director of the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the Zakarpattia State Administration Yevhen Tyschuk, the rector of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts Oleksandr Sobolev, the rector of the Zakarpattia Academy of Arts Ivan Nebesnyk made a welcome speech.
The heads of educational art institutions signed a cooperation agreement, which confirmed the plans of the westernmost and easternmost Ukrainian academies to continue joint actions.
A musical greeting was presented to the audience by representatives of the Uzhhorod Music College named after D. E. Zador.
