On the morning of April 28, the Russian Federation began another massive missile attack on Ukraine.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General Valery Zaluzhnyi reported that the attack took place around 4:00 a.m. from the Caspian Sea area. The targets were destroyed in the areas of responsibility of PC “Center”, PC “East” and PC “South”.

“The anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with the air defense systems of other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed 21 out of 23 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, as well as two UAVs of the operational-tactical level,” Zaluzhny explained in detail.

By the way, anti-aircraft missiles shot down 11 missiles and two drones in the airspace near Kyiv, the head of the KMVA reported. The shelling was carried out from strategic aircraft. According to preliminary data, 11 cruise missiles were destroyed in the airspace of Kyiv. In addition to the missiles, 2 more unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down.

As a result of falling debris, a local power line was cut and the road surface was damaged in the Obolon district of the capital. There were no casualties among the civilian population and no destruction of residential facilities or infrastructure. The information is being verified.

The enemy attacked Ukrainian cities: there are dead and wounded.
