An exhibition of posters about the war in Ukraine was opened in the Netherlands

Date:

The exhibition “Ukraine. People. Courage. Cry”.

As reported by Ukrinform, this is reported on Facebook pages Embassies of Ukraine in the Netherlands.

According to the report, the exhibition features almost fifty wartime posters by contemporary Ukrainian artists, which describe the events following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022.

“These are the works of some of the best Ukrainian artists, such as Maksym Palenko, Oleksandr Grekhov, Nikita Titov, Borys Groh, Yuriy Zhuravel, as well as artists of the Pictoric illustrator group.

Ukrainian movie posters of the 1920s from the collection of the Dedel Design Museum, which illustrate the richness of the cultural life of Ukrainians a century ago, are also presented at the exhibition,” the post reads.

The embassy expressed its gratitude to the director of the Dedel Design Museum, Martin F. Le Coultre, the curator of the exhibition, Daria Lysenko, and all the volunteers who made this exhibition possible.

The exhibition “Ukraine. People. Courage. Posters” can be visited until May 21, 2023. Entry is free for citizens of Ukraine.

We will remind you that two museums in the Netherlands, with the help of the President’s wife Olena Zelenska, have Ukrainian-language audio guides.
