Another country extended the temporary protection status for Ukrainians

The Greek government announced the extension of the temporary protection status for Ukrainian asylum seekers until March 4, 2024.

This was announced by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

The Greek Ministry of Migration and Asylum has officially announced that the validity of residence permits under temporary protection is automatically extended. As well as providing temporary protection to Ukrainians who will enter the country for the first time.

That is, those who have already received temporary residence permits will not need to renew them, and will also have access to state medicine, education, and the right to receive temporary housing at the reception point in Sintiki.
