Antalya’s luxury hotels predict a shortage of rooms for a month

Date:

Nirvana Hotels Group’s luxury Turkish hotels may run out of seats in April. As the CEO of the group, Korhan Alshan, told the Turkish media, the number of advance bookings for 2022 is approaching 2019 figures, and in March-April “excessive loading” is expected – including from the British. Therefore, Ukrainian tourists should hurry.

“We estimate that most of the season will be filled early due to overcrowding in March and April. The number of tourists we reached in Antalya in 2019 was about 15 million,” the hotelier recalled. First of all, he drew attention to the British market, which produces “very promising data”. “The British like to make early reservations. The first booking requests for the UK market have already exceeded 2019 volumes,” he said.

According to him, the situation is “calmer” on the European markets. However, there is also an important flow of orders from there. He further named Russia and Ukraine among the main markets, adding that Ukraine can also be included in the main exit markets after Russia and Germany, because “in recent years, this country has seen serious development, and the number of tourists coming to Antalya has exceeded 1 million”.

Ukrainian tourists who claim “luxury” accommodation should think about vacation now. Moreover, according to the forecasts of tour operators, closer to April, booking prices will soar by 50%, and even higher in the “luxury” segment.
