As of the morning of March 6, 2023, more than 1,395 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 464 children died and more than 931 were injured of varying degrees of severity.
These numbers are not final. Work on their installation in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, continues.
The most affected children were in Donetsk oblast – 446, Kharkiv oblast – 273, Kyiv oblast – 123, Kherson oblast – 94, Zaporizhia oblast – 84, Mykolaiv oblast – 83, Chernihiv oblast – 68, Luhansk oblast – 66, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 64.
On March 5, as a result of enemy shelling of the village. A projectile hit a private house in Panyativka, Kherson region, in which was a mother with her two sons, 7 and 15 years old. All died.
During the year, 3,126 educational institutions were damaged by the armed forces of the Russian Federation due to massive bombing and shelling. 438 of them were completely destroyed.
