United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called on Americans to leave the territory of Russia.

It is reported RBC-Ukraine with reference to press service of the US State Department.

“We repeat our urgent warnings about the danger that threatens US citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation. US citizens living in or traveling to Russia should leave the country immediately, as outlined in our travel advisory for Russia,” Blinken said.

He also emphasized that the highest priority of the State Department is the safety of US citizens abroad.

We will remind, today it became known that the journalist of The Wall Street Journal Evan Hershkovich was detained in Russia. He is allegedly accused of “spying on the enterprise of the Russian military-industrial complex.”

Today, the Lefortiv District Court of Moscow arrested the journalist. He may face up to 20 years in prison.

The Wall Street Journal appealed to Russia to release its journalist Evan Hershkovich, who was detained by the Federal Security Service.
