The permanent representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna, Emine Japarova, is resigning, she sent the corresponding document to the name of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on Thursday, and she also announced her decision “not to remain in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
“Unfortunately, the events that unfolded around me and my family are manipulative and unfair. Therefore, now my efforts are aimed at guaranteeing the safety of myself and my children”, – reported she is on her Facebook page.
Japarova explains her decision by the fact that “a lot of different information about me and my family has been spreading” in recent days.
Earlier, there was information that one of the founders and owners of PrivatBank, business partner of Ihor Kolomoiskyi, Gennady Bogolyubov, left Ukraine with forged documents after the Bureau of Economic Security notified him of suspicion in the PrivatBank case, and is currently in Austria.
Bogolyubov is married to Japarova, they have a daughter. Bogolyubov himself excludes that his wife helped him with the trips.
As reported, on July 9, Bogolyubov was informed of the suspicion of illegal possession of another person’s passport and organization of illegal transportation of a person across the state border of Ukraine.
The businessman’s press service claims that the businessman left the country as a citizen of Ukraine in compliance with all norms and laws: “The rules for crossing the border under martial law allow men over 60 years of age, as well as those who support three or more minor children, to leave the country. The businessman has all the legal grounds for crossing the border: he is 62 years old, he has 7 children, five of whom are minors.”
The businessman’s representatives also indicated the absence of any court restrictions that would prohibit Bogolyubov from crossing the border. According to the press service, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the businessman remained in Ukraine, after that he crossed the border several times on legal grounds.
Dzhaparova has been working as a post representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna since February 22, 2024, before that she worked as the first deputy minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine.
