German Chancellor Olaf Scholz decided to send German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

According to journalists, after several months of debate, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz did agree to hand over combat tanks to Ukraine – we are talking about at least one company of Leopard 2A6 tanks.
Other allies, in particular from Scandinavian countries, also want to supply Ukraine with Leopard 2 main battle tanks. The German government wants to give permission for the export of such tanks, which are in service with other countries, such as Poland.
According to Spiegel, the tanks will be allocated to Ukraine from the stocks of the Bundeswehr, and in the future, new battle tanks from the stocks of industry may be prepared for transfer.
