In Dnipro, the dog works as a taxi driver

Date:

A taxi driver dog named Beny works in Dnipro. He goes to the order every time together with his owner-driver Oleksiy Pokhanych.
Oleksiy and his dog moved to Dnipro from Kharkov because of shelling. The dog was afraid to stay at home alone, so the owner decided to take the four-legged dog with him to work. At first, the man taxied with the dog without informing the management, and later one of the passengers complained about him.

“I was blocked, then they started to find out why I was traveling with a dog. The manager called me, I told my story.” – says Oleksii.

The taxi service conducted a survey among customers whether they would mind the driver traveling with a dog. People voted “for” such a satellite.

“The photo of the driver with the dog is displayed in the application for the client. Then the driver himself calls the client and warns that he will be with the dog”— says the regional representative of the taxi service Denys Gura.

For Beni, the car was modified: the rear part of the car was separated, a dog’s paw and the inscription “petmobile” were pasted on the body.

“They put a net that limits the dog’s access to the salon. The dog is visible to the passengers, they can communicate, but they do not come into contact.” — regional representative of the taxi service Denys Gura.

Benny the dog even got a branded vest. Passengers liked the four-legged taxi driver – after the trip, they ask to walk the dog and leave him treats.
