The investigating judge of the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv satisfied the request of the prosecutor of the regional prosecutor’s office and took into custody until June 21, 2023, including the director of the LLC, who is suspected of taking possession of other people’s property by abusing his official position, committed repeatedly, in a particularly large amount. The court also determined bail for the suspect: the amount is 2,321,660 hryvnias.
As previously reported, in 2018, the state-owned enterprise and the LLC concluded contracts for the purchase of services for the current average repair of the Monachynivka – Prylyutov, Vilshana – Novoyehorivka, and Tavilzhanka – Petropavlivka roads.
However, the director of the LLC decided that the budget funds should go into his pocket. He arranged for the work to be carried out using less asphalt than was necessary. However, in the official documents, the employee ensured that information was entered that everything was allegedly done in accordance with the terms of the contract.
On the basis of the documents transferred to the state-owned enterprise, budget funds for works that were not actually completed in full were transferred to the account of the LLC. With his illegal actions, the director caused material damage to the state in the amount of more than 2.3 million hryvnias. The specified violations were confirmed by the conclusions of judicial construction and technical examinations.
