The traffic accident happened late in the evening on Saturday, April 15, in the Svyatoshyn district on the Great Ring Road in the Borshchagivka district. During the rain, the driver of the Hyundai Sonata lost control and crashed into a pole at high speed.
The impact was on the driver’s side. As a result of the accident, the man was pinned between the seat and the instrument panel. Rescuers from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv arrived at the scene of the accident. With the help of a hydraulic tool, they unblocked the driver from the car and handed him over to the “ambulance” medics.
A similar accident happened at the beginning on Peremogy Avenue under the overpass in Sviatoshynsky district. Rescuers had to cut the Mercedes-Benz driver out of the cabin. The man was also hospitalized.
