Under the procedural leadership of the Uzhhorod District Prosecutor’s Office, the activity of another drug dealer in the territory of the regional center was stopped. A local resident was informed of the suspicion of several counts of illegal acquisition, storage and sale of cannabis. The man was taken into custody with the right to deposit 134,000 hryvnias as bail.
The investigation established that a 28-year-old resident of Uzhgorod engaged in illegal activities in one of the city’s districts, arranging meetings for clients near apartment buildings or a supermarket. There, he handed them packages of a particularly dangerous drug, receiving money for it. A substance of plant origin and home-made smoking devices were also found at the suspect’s home during the search. The seized items will be sent for appropriate examination.
