Israel and Ukraine will maintain close relations

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with Israeli parliament members Yoel Edelshtein and Zeev Elkin, who arrived on a visit to Kyiv, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mykhailo Brodskyi said.

“Israel and Ukraine will maintain close relations based on common values ​​and mutual interests”, – wrote Brodsky on Twitter Tuesday morning.

He illustrated the message with a joint photo of the participants of the meeting, in which, in addition to Zelenskyi and Knesset deputies, he himself took part, as well as the head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak.

As reported, the delegation of the Israeli parliament arrived in Kyiv on Monday on an official visit and has already visited Bucha, Kyiv region.

Edelstein and Elkin previously headed a number of agencies in Israel. Both are natives of Ukraine.
