The State Bureau of Investigation intends to take control of the use by officials of budget funds allocated for the restoration of destroyed infrastructure as a result of Russian aggression.
The SBI, together with other law enforcement agencies, will monitor that all officials use the funds allocated for the restoration of the destroyed infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, as intended.
According to Suhachev, the SBI pays special attention to the issue of the use of budget funds by officials, especially those directed to the reconstruction of the state and social programs.
“We will monitor every step of the officials so that the funds are used to restore the infrastructure, and not go into their pockets,” he emphasized.
Sukhachev called documenting the crimes of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, identifying traitors and collaborators an important area of work.
“The State Bureau of Investigation continues to make a significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and protecting citizens from Russian aggression,” he emphasized.
