On Sunday night, Israeli TV channels reported, citing an anonymous source in Prime Minister Netanyahu’s delegation, that the US will announce next week that Israel will be included in the “visa-free” countries.
The source told the journalists that this information was received from the Americans unofficially – the Israelis were informed that Israel has fulfilled all requirements for ensuring equal freedom of movement for Palestinians with American citizenship, including from the Gaza Strip, and the visa-free regime will now be extended to our country.
Journalists were also informed that the White House usually announces the inclusion of new states in the Visa Waiver program on September 30, but since this day falls on a Saturday, the Israelis will be pleased earlier – already on Thursday, September 28. However, it will not be possible to travel to the USA without a visa by filling out an electronic declaration immediately – it will take a month and a half to rebuild the system.
