“Ukreximbank” together with the EBRD will launch a new lending program for farmers. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy based on the results of the meeting of First Deputy Minister Taras Vysotsy with representatives of Associations of the processing industry and representatives of banks.
In particular, the possibilities of attracting loans under the “5-7-9” program for the purchase of generators and other alternative sources of electricity, necessary for the smooth operation of the agricultural sector, were discussed.
According to Vysotskyi, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy conducted a survey among processing enterprises regarding the needs for generators and the amount of funds needed for their purchase.
“We have more than 50 requests for the purchase of necessary resources, including generators, under the “5-7-9″ program. Banks respond and offer other opportunities for lending to the agricultural sector, whose work directly depends on energy sources,” Vysotskyi said.
Thus, during the meeting, representatives of “Ukreximbank” announced a joint lending program for farmers with the EBRD, which provides for the return of compensation in the amount of 15% of the amount of the loan for the purchase of equipment to ensure the operation of the enterprise.
