On the famous Niagara Fallslocated on the border of the USA and Canada, on the night of December 21-22, 2022, the lights were turned off for a minute as a sign of solidarity with the residents of Ukraine.

In this way, the world-famous tourist location joined the symbolic international campaign Light Up Ukraine, which was held yesterday by partner countries of Ukraine. In various cities around the world, the lighting of iconic buildings or locations was turned off for a certain time. Thus, the organizers wanted to draw attention to the destruction by the Russians of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and the lack of light in the homes of Ukrainians, as well as to raise money for the purchase of 1,000 generators for Ukrainian hospitals.
