A total of five candidates took part in the interview: Victoria Vodka, Olena Honcharuk, Oleksiy Panteleev and Serhii Slepak. Kyrylo Zharovsky refused from participation in favor of Olena Honcharuk.
According to the results of the competition, Victoria Vodka received three votes, Olena Honcharuk – six.
Previously, Olena Honcharuk served as the director of the “Dovzhenko Center” since 2021. In the summer of 2022, “Dovzhenko Center” came under the supervision of State Cinema, and in November Honcharuk was removed from his post. On February 2, the publication RBC-Ukraine reported that the Kyiv prosecutor’s office submitted information regarding the violation by the ex-director of the Public Procurement Law and exceeding official powers.
