Orban: “We have never been so close to a local war turning into a global one”

Date:

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that the probability of the war in Ukraine turning into a global conflict is increasing.

It is reported Censor. NO with reference to European truth.

“A year ago, we all hoped that this armed conflict would not turn into a real war, but the war is much more violent and brutal than when it started,” Orbán said.

He noted that Hungary and the Vatican are the only states in Europe that advocate peace.

“International public opinion is sharply divided. There is the West, and there are others: Turks, Arabs, Chinese, Africans, they call for a ceasefire and peace talks,” he added.

Orbán said that Western leaders are in war fever.

“The Germans started with helmets, now they are on tanks, and now they are already talking about sending fighter jets,” he said.

Orban also does not rule out that Western countries may send their troops to Ukraine, and warned that the risk of a world war has become very close.

“We have never been so close to a local war turning into a global one,” he said.

At the same time, Orbán emphasized that Hungary needs to develop a strong army.
