Seitablaev, Zyubina, Andrienko: creative meetings with film screenings are held in the capital

Date:

Kyiv residents have the opportunity to meet their favorite actors and watch quality Ukrainian films.

In March, the Kinospilnot branch continues special screenings in the Red Hall of the House of Cinema.

“Kinospilnota” arose as a cultural project of the company “Art-object”, which was created by two well-known personalities in cinema circles – ex-directors of “Zhovten” and “Kinopanorama” cinemas, Ludmila Gordeladze and Nataliya Soboleva.

At the events, they aim to give the audience the opportunity to communicate with actors and directors, as well as watch interesting films on the big screens. The slogan of the project is “Cinema with a taste of Freedom!”

Meetings with Akhtem Seitablayev, Rimma Zyubina and Viktor Andriyenko were prepared this month.

Akhtem Seitablaev is a theater and film actor, director. He shot films that are iconic for our cinematography, distinguished by an active civic position – “Khaitarma” (the first Crimean Tatar full-length feature film and the first feature film about the deportation of the Crimean Tatars), “Another’s Prayer” (a film about a young Crimean Tatar girl Saida Arifova, who during of the Second World War, risking her own life, saved 88 Jewish orphans), “Cyborgs. Heroes don’t die” (one of the first Ukrainian films about modern war, about the battles at the Donetsk airport during the war in Donbas), “Zakhar Berkut” (screen adaptation of the historical novel of the same name “Zakhar Berkut” by Ivan Franko, co-produced with the USA).

Even during the full-scale invasion, when Akhtem joined the Armed Forces, he managed to complete and present the film “Peaceful 21”. It is based on a real story about the Luhansk border guards, who in 2014 gave battle to the invaders, despite the superiority of the enemy in terms of strength and equipment.

At the meeting, Akhtem will talk about cinema, his projects, and the role of an artist in the war.

Afterwards, there will be a screening of the film “Home”, in which Akhtem played the Crimean Tatar Mustafa, whose eldest son Nazim dies in the war. He comes for the body to Kyiv, where his younger son Alim is studying. Each of them has to carry out a difficult but important mission – to bring and bury Nazim in his homeland in Crimea according to Muslim traditions.

The picture occupies the 59-60th position in the list of the 100 best films in the history of Ukrainian cinema. It has two main awards: Kinokol for the best director and the best actor (Akhtem Seitablaev); Grand Prix for the best film of the International Film Festival in Bucharest; the main prize of the Odesa ICF.

Theater and film actress, TV presenter, public figure, winner of the “Golden Dzyga” award for the best female role in the film “Dove’s Nest”, two-time laureate of the “Kyiv Pectoral” award, the best actress 2016-2019 in the rating “Filmed in Ukraine” — all this about Rimma Zyubina. And she fundamentally refused to receive the state award “Honored Artist”, because she considers it a Soviet award and one of the first Ukrainian actors who, back in 2014, refused to work in Russian film and television projects.

Today, Rimma, together with Oleg Korkushko, is touring Ukraine with the play “It’s all her”, which talks about the eternal misunderstanding between generations of parents and children. The mother, played by Rimma Zyubina, tries to make friends with her son — and is forced to do it through the Internet.

At the creative evening, guests can meet with the actress, where she will share her thoughts about cinema, the present, and life, and you can ask her your questions.

And on the big screen — a program of short films with the participation of Rimma Zyubina.

“For the show, I chose student theses in which I acted,” says Rimma Zyubina. — Behind each filming there is its own story, about which you can shoot a movie. It was thanks to one of the student films that I got the main role in Taras Tkachenko’s “Dove’s Nest”, which changed my life. I will tell you how it happened at the creative meeting.”

When: March 24 at 5:00 p.m
Where: House of cinema, str. Saksaganskoho, 6

Honored artist Viktor Andrienko is a real man-orchestra: he is an actor, director, screenwriter, writer and producer.

In his creative arsenal there are almost a hundred of the most diverse projects: films in which he played roles, which he shot as a director, on which he worked as a stuntman; the animated characters he voiced; performances, serials, sketches, TV and radio programs, entertainment projects.

In recent years, Viktor Andrienko has been engaged in writing – he is the author of an exciting children’s book in the fantasy genre “Legends of the Enchanted Forest”, which he dreams of making into a film.

All his creativity is united by positivity and good energy. His acting experience is unique and unmatched, so he has a lot to talk about and a lot to show.

It will be an incredible evening with enchanting stories (humorous and serious), with fragments from films and shows, with reflections on the present, on acting and on life in general.
