Shmyhal about the need for 20,000 UAH salary for reservations: This is really the principle of “fight or work”

Date:

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, states that the need for an average salary at the level of 2.5 times the minimum wage for reservation from mobilization is the implementation of the “fight or work” principle.

“This is really the principle of “fight or work” (the availability of an average salary at the level of 2.5 of the minimum for reservation – IF-U). Either the company works and fills the budget, paying the appropriate level of salaries and coming out of the shadows, or such companies take certain measures so that the level of salaries is increased and corresponds to the average of the industry,” Shmyhal said during question time to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday. live broadcast on YouTube by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko (European Solidarity faction), answering a question about the regional imbalance in the reservation criteria for wages fee

As reported, at the end of November, the government published Resolution No. 1332 with the updated order of reservation from mobilization using the state portal “Diya”, which provides for the need to confirm criticality by all enterprises that currently have this status, until February 28, 2025, in order to keep their employees reserved. According to the document, businesses will now have to have an average salary of 2.5 times the minimum wage (currently UAH 20,000 per month) during the last quarter, and their reservation applicants will also have to have such a salary for at least one month in that quarter.
