On October 27-28 in Johannesburg and Pretoria, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga will hold a series of negotiations with high-ranking officials of the Republic of South Africa on the eve of important international events. the press service reports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

“During the meetings, the minister will pay primary attention to the development of political dialogue and cooperation between Ukraine and South Africa, promotion of the Peace Formula as a single path to a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace, interaction in the context of South Africa’s chairmanship of the Group of Twenty in 2025, coordination of positions on the eve of a number of important international measures,” the message said.

As specified in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, meetings are planned with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, the head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly and other officials of South Africa, the expert community, leading analytical centers and the scientific and teaching staff of the University of Pretoria, leaders of South African business associations and the Ukrainian community.

The visit to South Africa concludes the minister’s diplomatic tour of a number of Arab and African states, during which he already visited Oman, Angola and Egypt in the previous days.
