A traitor who surrendered air defense positions to the occupiers for 70,000 hryvnias was convicted of treason.
Prosecutors proved that the resident of Odessa, being a supporter of Russia and not shying away from “dirty” earnings, collected information on the location of energy infrastructure facilities for the special services of the Russian Federation for a reward.
He was also interested in the location of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces units, checkpoints, administrative buildings of law enforcement agencies and military facilities in Odesa and the region.
The convict established and recorded on video the basing of air defense means in Odesa. The traitor estimated his “help” at UAH 70,000.
To collect intelligence information, he traveled to various districts of Odesa and the suburbs of the regional center, where he took photos and videos of objects.
The enemy informer was detained during the transfer of video footage of the deployment of air defense systems to representatives of the Russian special services with the help of one of the messengers.
He is currently in custody. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
