Sweden provided Ukraine with 570 tons of equipment for the restoration of energy infrastructure

Date:

46 cargoes of humanitarian aid for energy needs arrived from Sweden to Ukraine. Of these, almost half of the equipment was sent by the Swedish side during the last two weeks.

“The Russians are mercilessly shelling the objects of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure. However, thanks to the help of our international energy partners, restoration work is being carried out faster and light and heat are being returned to the homes of Ukrainians,” said Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko.

Among the equipment from Swedish partners are generators, power transformers, electricity storage devices, lighting towers.

“We thank Sweden for the assistance provided. This is a contribution not only to the energy security of Ukraine, but also of the entire European continent,” Herman Galushchenko emphasized.
