As reported by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia Volodymyr Tolkach On May 13, the Embassy of Ukraine in Serbia and the Embassy of Great Britain organized a joint screening of the Eurovision 2023 final. A charity auction was held simultaneously with the event. Next, in the original language:
“Yesterday, we organized a joint viewing of Eurovision with our friends, the Embassy of Great Britain in Serbia. During the event, a charity auction was held, at which Her Excellency, Ambassador Shiyan McCain, presented some lots. It was decided that the money from the auction will go to the families of the victims of the Belgrade tragedy and to the children of Ukraine. Thanks to my British friends. You made a holiday of Ukraine in Liverpool. This is sensitivity and professionalism”
We will remind that in parallel with the mentioned event, the President of the Republic of Serbia and long-time friend of Putin Oleksandr Vucic agreed to early elections. He was forced to make such a decision by numerous protests taking place in the country.
