The capital hospital received beds for military rehabilitation from benefactors

European-style orthopedic self-adjusting beds were handed over to Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 9.

On March 15, the charitable foundation of Iryna Kolomiets “Good Deeds”, the NGO “Interesy Kiyan” together with German partners, the foundation “Wir helfen Ukraine” and the clinic “Christophorus Kliniken GmbH” handed over European-style orthopedic self-adjusting beds for the rehabilitation of soldiers and civilians to the clinic city ​​hospitals.

“I have been volunteering since 2008, actively helping since 2014. The fund was registered in 2022, the directions of its work are different,” she shared with “Evening Kyiv” Iryna Kolomiets. — We support our defenders, and also equip schools and hospitals with the necessary equipment.

German partners helped with technical means of rehabilitation. We contacted the hospital, learned its needs. The rehabilitation period is very important, it is necessary for the body to be in a certain position, in particular, under the correct inclination. There are special orthopedic beds for this. Currently, 9 of our soldiers are undergoing rehabilitation in the hospital.”

Charitable help for the hospital was accepted by orthopedic traumatologist of the highest category, candidate of medical sciences, PhD, honored doctor of Ukraine Alok Bansal.

On March 15, 7 beds, one chair, one mobile toilet seat, 4 orthopedic mattresses, crutches, and 10 walkers on wheels were transferred to the hospital. Even earlier, the department received 5 beds from benefactors.

According to Iryna Kolomiets, such cooperation will continue in the future.
