The Chinese brazenly copied the iPhone 13 in a cheap smartphone with the Huawei operating system

Date:

Harmony OS is the operating system of the Huawei company, which the Chinese released due to problems with the American government. Previously, it was received only by the manufacturer’s own gadgets, but the other day the first phone from another company went on sale, the characteristics of which also indicate Harmony OS. It is about the Gionee 13 Pro model. In the Chinese online store JD.com, a page with the device has already appeared, where it can be ordered.

In addition to the fact that this is the first phone with Harmony OS not from Huawei, the device is interesting in its design. Gionee 13 Pro brazenly repeats the iPhone 13: bangs on the front, flat edges, design of the main camera block – everything is copied almost 1 in 1.

However, apart from the appearance and unusual OS, there is nothing to trump the device – everything is very bad here with the characteristics. Judge for yourself: a 4-core Unisoc Tiger processor and 128 GB of obviously very slow memory, a 6.26-inch HD display, a 13+5 MP main camera and a battery with a capacity of only 3500 mAh.

As for the cost, the Gionee 13 Pro has been priced at $83. It would seem like a penny, but it is worth remembering that Gionee executives were tried in China back in 2020 for the fact that the company deliberately infected 26.5 million of its smartphones with a Trojan that displayed non-stop ads and spam banners on top of various applications in order to earn from advertising. In general, stay away if you see this trinket on AliExpress.
