The Esculab network of laboratories has suspended its activities in Kyiv due to a conflict between the owners of the network

Date:

The network of laboratories “Eskulab” has suspended its economic activity in Kyiv as a result of the conflict that arose between the owner of the network Serhiy Dyadyushko and its co-founders – Stanislav Lugovsky and Denys Melnyk.

As Dydyushko, Luhovskyi, Melnyk and Luhovskyi’s cousin Ihor Malinovskyi, who administers the Esculab software, told the Interfax-Ukraine agency, they blocked access of Dydyushko and network employees to the software on the basis of which Esculab operates in Kyiv.

“In connection with this, the economic activity of “Eskulabu” in Kyiv has been completely stopped,” said Dyadyushko.

He also reported that starting in June 2024, Lugovskyi, Melnyk, Malinovskyi, the commercial director of the network, Roman Vysotskyi, as well as a number of administrators of biomaterials collection points “will spend the cash received from the population bypassing the official tax and accounting records and without paying taxes to the budget.”

“Such actions of the identified persons lead to the actual non-payment of mandatory payments in the amount of about 3-4 million hryvnias per month to the budget, which, in turn, during the period of martial law, negatively affects the state’s defense capability,” Dyadyushko emphasized.

As reported, in 2023, a conflict arose between the co-founders of the Esculab network, when Luhovsky and Melnyk attempted to transfer Dyadyushka’s share to themselves and remove him from the network.

Medical laboratory “Aesculab” is one of the three largest private laboratories of Ukraine, contracted by the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSHU). The network includes five laboratory centers and 180 test collection points in the western regions of Ukraine and Kyiv.

In 2023, “Eskulab” paid UAH 33.8 million in taxes, in particular EUV – UAH 14.97 million, military duty – UAH 1.33 million, personal income tax – UAH 14.034 million. It is among the ten largest taxpayers of the Lviv region.

Dyadyushko, who owns 43% of the company, Lugovskyi (43%) and Melnyk (14%) are the co-founders of PSML “Eskulab”. The co-founders of “Eskulab Center” LLC are Dyadushko, Lugovsky and Melnyk, each of whom owns 20% of the company, as well as Ruslana Soltani, who owns 40%.
