No one was injured in the capital as a result of the Russian night attack.
Kyiv survived the ninth, hard attack of the Russian Federation. As the military reported, the enemy tried to destroy the capital with missiles fired from fighter jets based in the Caspian region.
But, according to information Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhnyi, out of 30 missiles fired over Ukraine, 29 were shot down by air defense units of the Air Force.
About what happened at night over Kyiv, I informed the mayor of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko.
On the air of “Radio Svoboda”, Mykola Povoroznyk, First Deputy Chairman of the KMDA gave detailed information.
“Over Kyiv, all cruise missiles and a reconnaissance drone, which was supposed to record the consequences of the strikes, were shot down. Debris fell on the territory of three districts: Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi and Desnyanskyi. There was no significant damage, there were two fires – in garages and a non-residential premises. There are several broken windows,” said Mr. Povoroznyk.
As of 9 a.m., there were no reports of casualties.
