The Minister of Health of Ukraine met with public, volunteer organizations and charitable foundations, which have been providing active assistance to the medical system of Ukraine since the first day of the war.
These are representatives of more than 20 largest public and volunteer organizations with which the Ministry of Health actively cooperates to meet the needs of wartime. Among them: charitable organizations “100% LIFE”, National Agency for Humanitarian Aid “ZDOROVI”, charitable funds “Patients of Ukraine”, “Tabletochki”, international fund “Renaissance”, “Wings of Hope”, “Zaporuka”, public organization “Initiative E +”, “KOLO”, “Ronald McDonald’s House Foundation in Ukraine”, charity fund “Breathe”, charity organization “TBPeopleUkraine”, charity organization “Light of Hope”, charity fund “Christian Medical Association”, CEO Club and HelpUkraine center, charity Soborna Ukraine Foundation, Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation, Voluntary and Protection Center Charitable Organization, Ternopil National Medical University, International Support Association of Ukraine/CF IASU Charitable Fund, Razom for Ukraine Charitable Funds, UA Brokers Without Borders, Health women and family planning”, “SMART MEDICAL AID UA”, “Spivdia”, charitable organization “International Charitable Foundation “Everybody Can”.
During the meeting, Viktor Lyashko talked with representatives of civil society, thanked them for their titanic work, outlined the main issues that currently exist in the health care system of Ukraine, and also listened to suggestions and advice on joint solutions to these issues.
“Collecting the needs, organizing everything logistically correctly and bringing the drug to exactly the institution that needs it – each of us understands the work and responsibility behind this,” comments Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko. – But how touching it is to hear words of thanks from medical workers, messages from institutions in the temporarily occupied territories that they have not been forgotten. Thanks to you, we must persevere and win, so we need to coordinate in further actions, because each of us understands why and for what we are doing it.”
At the end of the meeting, Viktor Lyashko, thanking them for their comprehensive assistance, awarded public, volunteer organizations and foundations with thanks for their courage, citizenship and invaluable contribution to the future victory of Ukraine.
