The newly appointed ambassador of Slovakia has started work in Ukraine

On July 5, the newly appointed ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine, Pavel Vizdal, presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Perebijnis.

“The partners confirmed their interest in comprehensive development of relations between Slovakia and Ukraine. The Ambassador of Slovakia informed about the assistance provided to Ukraine by the Slovak Republic and confirmed Slovakia’s support for Ukraine’s accession to the EU”, – is going in the message of the embassy on Facebook.

As the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports, during the meeting special attention was paid to the preparation of the visit of the President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini to Ukraine, as well as to the regular meeting of the Ukrainian-Slovak joint commission on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation.

“The parties discussed key tasks regarding the implementation of agreements at the highest political and governmental levels, as well as ways to implement the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi,” the message reads.

Perebijnis wished Vizdal success in his position as the ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine and expressed hope for further consolidation and deepening of Ukrainian-Slovak cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
