The petition for the suspension of Vitaliy Klitschko has already gathered more than 6,000 signatures

Date:

So, a petition posted on the website of the President of Ukraine “on the suspension of Vitaliy Volodymyrovych Klitschko from the position of the Chairman of the KMDA for the period of the investigation” gained a record 6,000 signatures in a few days. Given that their number is constantly increasing, it becomes obvious that the people of Kyiv are outraged by the inaction of Kyiv officials and their attempt to shift the blame for the collapse of the civil defense system, which led to civilian casualties.

We will remind that on June 1, 2023, a 9-year-old child and two women from Kiev tried to get into the bomb shelter during another Russian missile attack, but they could not do it and died on the spot. According to the generally accepted version, the tragedy happened because the bomb shelter was simply closed.

Immediately after the tragedy, none of the officials admitted their guilt, on the contrary, they began to invent ways to avoid responsibility, which caused public disgust. In addition, according to the results of the subsequent inspection of the condition of Kyiv bomb shelters, 44% of them were either closed or unusable.

With this in mind, Dmytro Kravchenko from Kyiv registered on the website of the President of Ukraine in charge petition:

“Yes, according to a report in the media with reference to the victims and witnesses of the event on June 1, 2023, citizens of Ukraine, including a child, tried to get to the civil defense facility in Kyiv during a rocket attack. Howeverdue to the irresponsible attitude to the performance of their official duties of the administrative vertical of the KMDA, their criminal inaction – they could not carry out their intention to protect themselves from damage and died on the spot,” the text says.

According to the author of the petition, it is the KMVA that is entrusted with the responsibilities of ensuring the life of the city and civil protection of the population.

“I am asking you to remove Vitalii Volodymyrovych Klychko, the Chairman of the KMDA, from performing the duties of the Chairman of the KMDA for the period of the pre-trial investigation by law enforcement agencies. In my opinion, such a step will make it possible to neutralize the potential influence of the guilty officials on the witnesses of the event and will ensure a full, impartial and objective investigation.” – concluded Kravchenko.
